If you have limited time but still want a value-filled safari that highlights Kenya’s most famous sights, this is the perfect package for you. Showcasing the flamingos and rhinos of Lake Nakuru and a scenic drive down the Great Rift Valley, this road and lodge safari also offers two days of game viewing in the world famous Masai Mara.

Wildlife Highlights: lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, cheetah, hippos, crocodiles, wildebeest, zebra, antelope, impala, waterbuck, topi, eland, plains game, giraffe, black rhino and white rhino.

PACKAGE ITINERARY

DAY 1 - Nairobi to Lake Nakuru

You’ll be picked up from Jomo Kenyatta airport. Leaving Nairobi, you’ll drive up the spectacular Great Rift Valley, passing Lakes Naivasha and Elmenteita before arriving at Lake Nakuru National Park and into Lake Nakuru Lodge in time for lunch. Enjoy your first game drive in the park during the afternoon, where you might find rhinos grazing on the lakeshore (this park is the nation’s largest rhino sanctuary). You’ll rive back at the lodge in time for a swim before enjoying a sumptuous buffet dinner. Distance/drive time: 185km/3 ½ hours

DAY 2 - Lake Nakuru to the Masai Mara

You’ll leave Lake Nakuru Lodge after breakfast and continue up the floor of Rift to arrive at the Masai Mara Sopa Lodge in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon game-viewing across the rolling savannah plains of the famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Return in time to take a swim in the luxury pool before enjoying dinner. Distance/drive time: 320km/5 hours

DAY 3 - On safari in the Mara

You’ll leave Lake Nakuru Lodge after breakfast and continue up the floor of Rift to arrive at the Masai Mara Sopa Lodge in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon game-viewing across the rolling savannah plains of the famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Return in time to take a swim in the luxury pool before enjoying dinner. Distance/drive time: 320km/5 hours

DAY 4 - Return to Nairobi

Drive or fly back (the flight comes at an additional cost) to Nairobi and have lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant – its BBQs serves a variety of meats, including ostrich, crocodile and many more (plus fish, vegetarian choices, salads, etc). Afterwards you’ll be transferred to the airport in time for your flight home. Distance/drive time: 265km/4 ½ hours

  • Prices are only applicable if your safari is started and completed within the specified dates; and subject to availability of indicated accommodations. Overlapping price periods are to be re-quoted upon enquiry.
  • Children under 12 years sharing with two adults pay 60% of the safari cost, except for the optional Mara – Wilson flight which is USD 322.00 per person for an optional scheduled flight from Mara to Nairobi on day 4.
  • Please note that there are price supplements should you be traveling over Christmas or Easter.
  • Our services start / end up with a pick up / drop off at Jomo Kenyatta Airport.
